Increasing the Calibration Accuracy for the Positive Displacement Flowmeter

  • 摘要: 介绍了腰轮流量计的检定原理, 分析了检定误差产生的原因, 主要原因有: 管内壁结蜡导致体积管的标准容积变小; 标准体积管的工作温度测量方法不当, 取值不准。为了提高流量计的检定精度, 建议: 对体积管内壁结蜡问题, 应在正式检定前运行4~5个检定球, 以便清除体积管内壁的积蜡; 关于温度对检定的影响, 可采取三种方法, ①对体积管保温, ②改进测温方法, ③体积管实际温度可近似等于油温与室温之和的一半。

     

    Abstract: The calibration principle for the positive displacement flowmeter is introduced and the calibrating error is analysed. The calibrating error is mainly due to the wax deposited on the internal surface of prover, which makes the standard volume of prover reduction; and the working temperature of standard prover is mistaken during operating, which produces wrong readings. In order to increase the calibrating accuracy for the flowmeter, the paper suggests that for the wax, 4 -5 calibrating pigs should be lauched to scrape the wax before calibrating; for the temperature, the three methods should be adopted: ① insulating the prover; ② improving the survey method for temperature; ③ the actual temperature of the prover equalling approxi-matlly the half as large as the sum temperature of oil temperature and room temperature.
