Abstract: The one of the tasks for staffs engaged in oil storage and transportation is to reduce the evaporation loss of crude oil stored. For the underground concrete oil tank that the inner floating roof is unable to be modified, the paper puts forward a method for reducing evaporation loss of crude oil, and makes a theoretical analysis, it is pointed out that interconnecting the oil-gas space for this kind of tank is a new concept in reducing evaporation loss of oil.
