On the Design and Operation of LPG Tank Farms

  • 摘要: 城市选用LPG作燃料, 有利于环境保护, 方便居民生活。当前我国沿海地区城市采用LPG作为燃料的热潮正迅猛发展。LPG由丙烷和丁烷组成, 二者一般采用分别储存方式, 储存方式又分为常温带压储存和低温常压储存, 分别介绍了这两种储存方式的设计条件。低温常压LPG储罐有两种型式, 一种为双层金属式; 另一种为PS式, 分别介绍了这两种储罐的结构特点、材料要求、设计原则和性能试验结果。建议与国外合作进行LPG库的设计、施工、运营管理等工作, 以利于掌握这方面的技术。

     

    Abstract: When selected as fuel LPG is beneficial to the environmental conservation and convenient for the daily lives of cities. At present, the trend taking LPG as fuel is rapidly growing in the coastal cities of China. LPG is consisted in propane and butane, which has to be usually stored separately. The storage method is classified as the pressured storage at ordinary temperature and the normal pressure storage at low temperature. The paper separately introduces the design specifications of these two methods. The low temperature-normal pressure LPG tank is divided into two types, one is double wall metal type, and the other is PS type. The structure features, material requirements, design principle and the results of performance test of the two tanks are described respectively. It is suggested that the more cooperations with foreign countries in LPG design, construction and operation should be carried out in order to master the LPG storage technology.
