Model Tests Made for SO4 Coating Material to Justify its Wax Resis-tance

  • 摘要: 为了评价SO4涂料覆盖层的防结蜡效果, 采用板式结蜡器进行了模拟试验。在相同的工艺条件下, 对几种原油在涂有SO4涂料覆盖层表面和裸露钢表面上的结蜡情况进行了对比分析。极性较高的SO4涂料具有优良的防腐性能, 且对石蜡在其表面的沉积具有缓解作用, 说明涂有SO4涂料的覆盖层具有较好的防蜡效果。

     

    Abstract: In order to evaluate the wax resistance of SO4 coating, model tests are made with steel plates acting as wax collectors. Comparative analyses on the wax deposition are made for different types of crude oils by using two wax collectors under the same process conditions, one coated with SO4, the other with no coating. SO4, having a strong polarity, is excellent in corrosion resistance as well as in resistance to wax deposition on surface. It is therefore concluded that SO4 can be a commendable coating material under the same process conditions against wax deposition.
