Failure Analysis and Life Prediction for the Floating Deck in Aluminium Alloy

  • 摘要: 通过对一座进口铝浮盘损坏情况的调查, 对铝浮盘进行了失效分析。分析表明,失效的主要原因是舌形密封带老化及盖板电化学腐蚀; 而油罐进油管设计欠合理则是造成偶然性失效的原因。针对失效原因提出了一些建议与看法, ①选用国产舌形密封带应注意质量, 为此,生产厂家应对材料与配方进行优选, 不断改进工艺,严把质量关。②对油罐内壁应做防腐处理,防止大量铁锈碎屑落到盖板上产生电化学腐蚀; 对盖板预期工作寿命的设计应与其它铝合金构件同步考虑。③按生产工艺需要选择支腿型式; 合理地选择进.油扩散管的结构形式、尺寸及安装位置等。

     

    Abstract: Failure analysis is made through investigation for an amported floating deck in aluminium alloy. During the investgation, senile lingual sealing belt and electro-chemically corroded cover are found. The reason for the accidental failure lies in the unduely designed inlet pipe to the tank. The following suggestions are given correspondingly: ① Attention shall be paid to the quality when selecting lingual sealing belt among domestic suppliers. And the suppliers shall carry out material and formula optimization, as well as technology improvement so as 10 guarantee product quality. ② The tank shall be internally protected in such manner that no rust falls down to the surface of cover plate to cause electro-chemical corrosion; in addition, the service life of cover plate shall be designed with the consideration of other parts in aluminium alloy. ③ Proper types of support legs shall be selected according to production requirement; and the inlet diffusing pipe shall be duely chosen in respect of its structure, size, and installation location.
