Study on Lightning Arresting for Tank Farms

  • 摘要: 由于石油雷电安全规范不够完善, 操作管理不够科学, 致使石油库雷电灾害时有发生, 给国家造成重大经济损失, 对人类生命安全构成极大危害。为预防和消除石油库雷电灾害, 特对石油企业现行防雷措施进行了考察, 并对各种防雷措施的防雷效果进行了分析, 指出装独立的避雷针存在以下问题: ①有雷击二次效应; ②向附近被保护物反击; ③接触电压和跨步电压对人畜的危害; ④保护范围不可靠; ⑤对易燃易爆物品引起爆炸和火灾。介绍了在避雷针基础上发展起来的新装置——消雷器, 与避雷针相比, 消雷器有四大特点: ①能完全地消去由地面向上发展的雷电; ②可使对地雷击率减少百分之七十五; ③避免雷击二次效应; ④保护范围大, 因此建议采用少长针半导体消雷器。

     

    Abstract: Due to the imperfection of lightning Arresting Codes for Petroleum Industry and less scientific management, fire caused by lightning frequently occurs, causing enomous economic loss, threatening human life and safety. For prevention and removal of the hidden damage, investigations were conducted on light arresting measures in operation with the analysis on their effects. Specially pointed out are the following drawbacks of the individual lightning rods: ①Secondary effect; ②conterattack to the adjacent protected objects; ③Damage of contact votage and step voltage to humanbeings and domestic animals; ④Unreliable protected scope; ⑤Possible explosion and fire of flamable and explosive objects. Introduced inthis paper is a kind of device——Lightning Arrestor, newly developed based on lightning rods, which has 4characteristics comparatively: ① 100% of the lightning developed from the ground can be arrested; ②Lightning to the ground can be reduced by 75%;③Secondary effect of lightning can be avoided; ④Large scope of protection can be available, for which reason, radio lightning arrestors with fewer rods are recommended for application.
