Site Corrosion Detection by Ultrasonic Detector

  • 摘要: 介绍了从德国引进的ϕ720型超声波管道腐蚀检测器和ϕ720型管道通径检测器的技术性能, 及其在鲁宁输油管道首次现场检测的过程和结果。这两种检测器都是在不中断输油生产的条件下进行在线检测的设备, 检测时先运行通径检测器, 检测管道通径变化量, 看其是否满足管道腐蚀检测器通行的要求, 然后进行一系列的清管工作, 刮除管道内壁的结蜡层, 以减少超声波信号的衰减, 最后才运行管道腐蚀检测器。两种检测器在管道中随油流推动运行, 自动地、独立地进行检测, 一次可运行150km, 可以检测出全部腐蚀和通径变化的数据, 经过计算机处理显示出检测结果。现场检测管道长119.22km, 测出腐蚀缺陷600余处, 绝大部分是外壁腐蚀, 腐蚀深度4mm以上的49处, 经过开挖验证了部分检测结果。通过检测器的检测, 为长输管道开展有计划, 有目的地维修, 提供了可靠的、科学的依据。

     

    Abstract: Described in the paper is the technical performance of two kinds of German make detectors with a diameter of 720 mm, one is the ultrasonic detecting pipeline corrosion, the other is a kind of drift decting device, and the site detecting procedure and result of their first application in Lu-Ning Pipeline. Both kinds of detectors can carry out on-line detection. Drift detecting device goes through the pipeline first to make sure if corrosion detector can be used followed by a series of pigging work, for instance, scraping the wax film formed on the pipe's internal surface so as not to reduce the signal quality. Running inside the pipeline with the flow of oil, these types of detectors can perform their detection both automatically and independently, being able to work continuously for 150 km, with all the changes of drifting detected and every defect pointed, located, the data of which are simultaneously recorded in the device and the results are able to be shown through computer calculations. In the 199.22 km long pipeline detection, 600 or so defects were located, most of them were external defects, among 49 of which were 4 mm in depth. Part of the detecion results were verified by open-cut examination. The application of detectors provide reliable and scientific data for the pipeline built to be maintained in a planned way.
