An Analysis on the Unsteady Flow in Oil Pipeline

  • 摘要: 输油管道中油品的不稳定流动问题,可以采用各种数值法并借助计算机进行有效分析。目前最广泛采用的数值法有特征线法、显式差分法和隐式有限差分法。分析了各方法的特点:特征线法和显式差分法能对各种边界条件进行处理,但时间步长取值必须很小,计算次数多;隐式有限差分法能采用较长的时间步长,相应减少计算次数,但需求解非常庞大的非线性方程组。因此提出一种将特征线法和隐式差分法揉和在一起分析不稳定流动的混合分析法。在分析过程中根据管道的长度、复杂性、边界条件、精度要求等,交错使用特征线法和隐式差分法进行分析,使时间步长的取值长短适宜,避免求解大型非线性方程组,达到节省计算机存储容量和计算时间的目的。并根据混合法研制出了适合输油管道或管网系统不稳定流动分析的软件包,通过大量实例,验证了它的可行性。

     

    Abstract: The unsteady flow in oil pipeline can be effectively analysed by use of different numerical methods as well as computers. The most commonly used numerical methods are method of characteristic, explicit difference and implicit finite difference. The analysis in the paper shows that the methods of characteristic and explicit difference, though being capable of dealing with various boundary conditions, have small time steps and need many times of calculations; and that the implicit finite difference method, having longer time step and fewer times of calculations, needs to solve unwieldy nonlinear equation groups. So a method of mixed analysis is introduced, a method that makes the analysis of unsteady flow using both the method of characteristic and implicit difference. During analysis, these two methods are used alternately based upon the length of pipeline, complexity, boundary conditions, and accuracy requirements so as to get proper time step, avoid the nonlinear equation groups and reduce the computer storage and calculation time. Also, based on this mixed method, a software package is developed for analysis of unsteady flow in oil pipeline or pipe network, which is proved feasible by numerious examples.
