Research on Sealing of Unloading Provision Installed at the Bottom Part of a Rail Tank Car of Light Oil

  • 摘要: 由于气阻问题给铁路轻油罐车上部卸油作业造成了极大的困难,为了解决这一问题,人们曾进行了如潜油泵、低气压辅助等卸油工艺的尝试,但未能从根本上解决气阻问题。提出了采用下部卸油工艺的关键问题就是解决卸油装置的密封。认为保持流体密封必须满足两个条件:①在密封接触面上产生具有基本宽度的密封环;②在密封环上产生大于介质压力的反力。从这两个条件出发,对铁路轻油罐车下部卸油装置的密封进行了研究,并提供了解决密封问题的新装置。

     

    Abstract: Drag modification causes great difficulty for unloading rail tank cars of light oil from upper part. To solve the problem, people tried many unloading methods such as mersible pumps with added low-pressure. Nevertheless, the problem of drag modification hasns't been completely solved. For that, it is pointed out in the paper that the key point in unloading from the bottom part of a rail tank car is the problem of unloading provision's sealing. The two requirements listed below should be considered in order to prevent the fluid from leaking; 1. To provide a sealing ring of required width for the sealing on the contact surface; 2. To provide a counter force (on the sealing ring) higher than the pressure of the medium. Based on the two conditions mentioned above, research is done on sealing of unloading provision installed on lower part of a light oil tank car, with a new type of facility for solving the sealing problem recommended.
