Abstract: Double effects are clarified of pour point depresent (PPD) being added to waxy crude oil. Based on thermal treatment, the performance of flow of waxy crude oil at low temperature can be improved, and necessary requirments are set forth for PPD to be compatible with waxy crude oil with the application value of EVA type pour point depresent and the affection caused by the formation and structure of colloid with pollar group analyzed.
