Abstract: The article summarizes the history and the main achievements in research on oil pipeline transportation technology in China. Inaccordance with the specific property of crude oil in China and the developing requirements of pipeline, it also puts forward the urgent tasks for further developing oil pipeline transportation technological researches in the future, so that oil pipeline transportation technological system with the Chinese characteristics could be set up step by step.
