Abstract: With the general introduction of pipeline tapping reinforcement, this paper emphatically explains the practicality and the economicality of elliptical sized reinforcement ring. By the calculation of the thickness of reinforcement ring tapped on 720×9(mm) main line and 630×8(mm) branch line, it expreeses the more realistic standpoint on how to sellect the types of reinforcement rings according to the different tapping sizes of pipes.
