Abstract: The emergency of river crossing pipelines would be more easily happened than those pipelines on land. The paper summarises the main emergent types of rirer crossing pipelines, gives emphasis on the present repairing methods of river crossing pipelines in foreign countries, gives out the repairing procedures and those effective factors which may be considered in the sellection of optimum repairing method and puts forward the idea of those repairing technique for land pipelines being used for river crossing pipelines.
