Abstract: The pigging of light oil pipeline is too late to begin in Chiua so that most designs and constructions of such pipeline have no consideration in requirement of pigging technology. Therefore, the maintenance of pipeline and the quality of prodoct have been affected, To solve this problem, it is necessary to use such pigging technology that is suitable for the vari-sized pipeline. The paper describes several such pigging methods that are suitable for this condition in foreign countries。These may be referenced and selctively adopted for the concerned departments.
