Abstract: In the paper various types of possible tank damages caused by seismism and research for seismic protection in advanced level countries are introduced, meanwhile the seismic pr-otection standard currently made covers the advantage points of standards issured by the countries of USA, Japan etc, and some new contents added. It will be published in near future.
