Abstract: Because of development of offshore oil and gas fields, Submarine pipeline installotion poses a many important problems to study. The paper reviews future trends and technical features in offshore pipelines and gives a more detailed description of the dign, Installation of submarine pipelines and the stresses due to pipelaying. Finally the following aspects are discussed: stresses under various flow regime, method and eguipment for pipelaying, line pipes, standards and specificalions to be established.
