Abstract: The article introduses in detail the historical and current magnetic technology. The research and application examples related to the magnetic technolgy in the field of preventing wax precipitation, reducing pour point, reducing viscosity, enhancing throughput of crude oil abroad and at home were collected, the key point for magnetic technology usage on the crude oil pipeline was stated, which is significant as reference to the petroleum production, gather, storage, and transportation.
