Abstract:
In light of linear wave theory, the article explores the dynamic properties of the oil and gas production vertical pipe system on off-shore platform by means of wave repetition. Morrison equation for linearization is used to calculate the wave force exerted on the vertical pipes. The solution of the finite element equation is carried out within the time range through mode repetition. Here is analysed the two dynamic responses on the part of the vertical pipes to the single wave force and the combined forces of it and the displacement of platforms. It explains and compares the values thus obtained such as the data of displacement, torque and bending torque. The results show that the analytical method presented inthis article is practical, and the computer programme can facilitate the strength desigh of such verticle pipes.
