Abstract: Following the theory of displacement of the crack ends in bread sense and bring under consideration the drag stress and the snear stress fields of the crack ends and the effect of their expansion, the article deals with the break problems in respect to pressure vessels with slanting cracks, presenting the formulas for calculating the break pressure of the vessels made of high and medium strength steel, and the data for determing the rheological break pressure of short cracks.
