Abstract: In order to grope for the possibility of using elastic polyurethane coating to patch horrizontal Iow pressure metal tanks, analog tests have been made on two containers of simillar structure at respective pressure of 0.4 MPa and 0.6 MPa. The results show that the equation for burst film is correct, and the coating is applicable for leak patching.
