Abstract: The article presents the principle to bring about the formula for insulation resistance, and the programme and models for TI-59 calculator, which is able to work out the insulation resistance valuc of buried oil and gas pipelines and keep upto-date of the way in which it change, so as to provide the scientific ground for evaluating the duration and aging rate of a new corrosion protective material.
