Abstract: It is stressed in the article that the out-of-date open flow calculation can not be followed while designing a pipeline operating pressure, and an optimum project can't be worked out unless the calculations of the entire line unified operating pressure and the numbers of pumps to be used under various output at each pump station have beea done and some considerations to some other factors concerned given.
