An Analysis of the Accident that a LNG Sphere Tank was Broken in Our Refinery

  • 摘要: 根据事故调查报告中的现象及数据,采用常用的计算公式,进行计算和分析,证明在误操作时,只要放空管道保持畅通,球罐不会破裂; 当液化石油气从裂缝中喷出时,壳壁的应力已达钢材的最低屈服点。针对这个教训,应当采取相应的安全措施。

     

    Abstract: Based on the facts and data in thc accident report, calculation and analysis were carried out using the conventional formulas to justify the view that so long as the pipelines were relieved to keep it through smoothly during operation, the spherc tank would not be broken.As the LNG being jetted out of the cracks, the tank shell stress has been at the lowest yielding point of steet. This is a lesson enough for us to take some safety measures against it.
