Abstract:
GIS-based aided design system for long-distance oil pipeline engineering is an aided design platform integrated the display, management and decision-making together. This system, working with component and database technology, develops the professional module suitable for the process design of pipeline and possesses the functions in program administration, process design, pipeline route management and system maintenance, etc. in the course of design of oil pipeline engineering. By means of sub-block disposal and graph transformation, the system can generate an arithmetic of lead straight plan for oil pipeline. For the same reason, the location of the pumping station and valve chamber along pipeline can be determined by means of drag friction calculation model and equation iteration arithmetic, including hydraulic gradient graph. Module design and secondary component development relying on the GIS-based platform for the professional flowchart of oil pipeline can be realized so as to provide an aided decision-making support to the engineers engaged in the oil and gas storage and transportation.
