Gas leak loss and dynamic monitoring determination of underground gas storage

  • 摘要: 地下储气库的注采运行,需要持续监测储气库内天然气的运移和渗漏情况,校核储气量,以保证储气库的供气能力。从地质层面,储气库的泄漏损耗主要包括内部渗漏、外部泄漏、垫层气量增加;从工程层面,储气库泄漏损耗主要包括注采井泄漏,地面管道和设备泄漏,注采气系统放空。储气库注采过程动态监测内容主要有:采气井和注气井压力、温度等动态参数,盖层的密封性,固井质量和套管的密封性。介绍了中子测井、温度测井、转子流量计等监测手段。提出了通过监测关井压力和地层压力随库存量的变化曲线动态判定储气库泄漏情况的方法,为我国储气库的工程实践提供了理论依据和技术支持。

     

    Abstract: It is important to take close observation over the gas inlet and outlet process or leak of gas storage and verify gas preservation in the storage for gas production and injection operation of underground gas storage to ensure gas supply capacity. This paper analyzes the possible leak loss of gas storage including internal and external leak, and leak loss caused by increasing cushion gas quantity, and emptying of injection well, surface pipeline, equipment or gas production and injection system, and also describes the dynamic monitoring on injection process of current gas storage. It is pointed out that such dynamic parameters as pressure and temperature of gas production and injection well need to be recorded. Besides, monitoring the sealing performance of gas storage cover, well cementing quality and casing sealing performance are necessary. The paper briefly introduces such monitoring methods for gas storage as neutron logging, temperature logging and rotor flowmeter and proposes the dynamic monitoring on gas leak by observing changeable shut-in pressure and pressure changes with gas storage, which provides the theoretic foundation and technical support to the engineering practices of China's gas storage.
