Contrast of the inland and overseas lightning protection standards for oil tank

  • 摘要: 储油罐防雷标准是储油罐防雷工程的基本依据,而传统的富兰克林避雷针理论得到国内外多数防雷标准认可和使用。梳理了中国、俄罗斯和北美等国家和地区的储油罐防雷标准,对比分析了国内外标准在浮盘与罐壁等电位连接、储油罐接地、内浮顶与固定顶罐防雷、罐顶接闪厚度、电气仪表和防雷系统维护等方面的技术差异。指出等电位连接是储油罐防雷的重要基础,同时建议基于API RP 545和国内相关标准,采纳俄罗斯标准关于维护和检测方面的细节要求,制定符合我国生产实际的储油罐防雷标准。

     

    Abstract: This paper collects the oil tank lightning protection standards of China, Russia, North America, and other countries and regions, a comparison among their differences is given on equipotential connection of floating disc and tank wall, tank grounding, lightning protection of inner floating roof and fixed roof tank, the thickness of lightning receiver, electrical instrumentation and lightning protection system maintenance. It is pointed out that the equipotential connection is an important foundation for oil tank lightning protection. The authors suggest that adopting the relevant Russian standards regarding the maintenance and testing detail requirement based on API RP 545 and related inland standards is necessary to develop the tank lightning protection standards correspond with China's actual pipeline status.
