Abstract: It is an inevitable trend to clean dead oil of large-scale tank with total enclosure mechanical cleaning technology. Based on the experiences, it is pointed out that the key of cleaning plan is to establish perfect and efficient organization, and the important work in cleaning plan is to carrying out field investigation and draw mapping. Dead oil discharge, oil supplying for cleaning and hot water washing are the three important stages, including marking the comprehensive correlation criterion for the completed work in each stage. For the cleaning of sticky crude, it is necessary to scientifically design the installation route of piping and reserve the purging open hole and switching valve. In order to reduce the disassembling frequency of equipment and piping, the design principle for the cleaning of tankfarm is put forward and reasonable grouping for the proposed cleaning tanks is made according to the distance between the proposed cleaning tank, oil supplying tank and cleaning equipments.
