Abstract:
The WKC1 compressor station in Central Asia Gas Pipeline has the following functions for the two inlet lines: on-line detection of the gas quality, filtering, metering, compressing and transmission. Based on the hydraulic mathematical model for long-distance gas pipeline, the operating parameters are analyzed. It is considered that the operation stability of the entire hydraulic system is mainly depending on the stability of suction pressure, discharge pressure and the throughput. Further, these three parameters have a certain relationship among them. Under various operation conditions, by timely choosing proper control model(inlet pressure, outlet pressure and NGP(or NGG)speed of the compression unit), three control models are established. Proved by practical work in WKC1, these measures can effectively reduce the influence of the downstream and upstream pressure and flow fluctuations of WKC1 to the operation of compressor units, which can greatly ensure stability of the entire hydraulic system of the Central Asian Gas Pipeline.
