Abstract:
The conventional development modes of oil and gas fields cannot be used in Bohai Bay due to the restriction of maritime navigation and other factors. Therefore, it is urgent to explore and apply a subsea oil and gas production system for the reasonable use of oil and gas resources in the restricted area. Herein, the design principles for the general layout of protective facilities for the subsea oil and gas production system with steel cylinders were analyzed in detail based on the development project of Wellblock W-1 in Jinzhou 25-1 Oilfield. A standard design plan for general layout of steel cylinder protective facilities suitable for six Christmas trees was proposed, and the rationality of the layout plan was verified from the four aspects, which were the relative positions of the manifold and Christmas trees, the spacing between Christmas trees, the spacing between the subsea manifold and Christmas trees, and the distance from the steel cylinder protective facilities to the jack-up drilling unit. The results show that the layout in the subsea development plan of oil and gas fields in the restricted area is efficient, compact, scientific and reasonable. Moreover, the research results provide a new, efficient and reliable standard layout plan for the oil and gas field development projects in the restricted shallow water area of the Bohai Sea, which could also be directly applied to other oil and gas field development projects in the restricted areas of the Bohai Sea as a standard solution.
