Progress of research on hydrogen storage in organic liquid and thinking about pipeline transportation

  • 摘要: 有机液体储氢技术将氢以化合物形式加以存储,避免了物理储运氢能时所需高压、低温等苛刻条件,具有储氢密度高、安全性好、成本低等优势,在氢能储存与运输领域受到广泛关注。为此,从储氢载体选择、“氢油”脱氢机理两方面评述了有机液体储氢技术的研究进展,而后论述了“氢油”管道运输的可行性及其国内外发展现状,最后从H2的物质危险性、“氢油”对管壁的腐蚀性、“氢油”泄漏危害3个方面分析了有机液体储氢管道运输的安全性,并对未来有机液体储氢技术的发展,尤其是采用管道输送“氢油”需解决的关键问题进行展望,以期为实现氢能产业规模化发展提供参考。

     

    Abstract: Organic liquid hydrogen storage technology is to store hydrogen in the form of compounds, avoiding the harsh conditions such as high pressure and low temperature required for physical storage and transportation of hydrogen energy. The technology has the advantages of high hydrogen storage density, good safety and low cost, and it has attracted extensive attention in the field of hydrogen storage and transportation. Therefore, the progress of research on organic liquid hydrogen storage technology was reviewed from two aspects, i.e., the selection of hydrogen storage carrier and the dehydrogenation mechanism of "hydrogen oil". Then, the feasibility of transporting "hydrogen oil" by pipeline and its development status at home and abroad were discussed. Finally, the safety of pipeline transportation of organic liquid hydrogen storage was analyzed from three aspects, which are the material risk of H2, the corrosion of "hydrogen oil" to the pipe wall, and the leakage hazard of "hydrogen oil". The future development of organic liquid hydrogen storage technology, especially the key problems to be solved for pipeline transportation of "hydrogen oil", was prospected, so as to provide a reference for the scaled development of the hydrogen energy industry.
