Abstract:
The technical patterns for unloading of oil products at various stations along product pipelines in China can be roughly divided into four types: continuous distribution, constant flow distribution, variable flow distribution and independent planning. There are technical adaptation limits for the software applied in each pipeline.Based on the above four unloading techniques, the general product pipeline scheduling model was established with consideration to the constraints of hydraulics, flow, mass balance, batch injection, batch distribution, batch transfer, etc., and the corresponding software was developed and successfully applied to a product pipeline. The results show that the model is adapted to four kinds of unloading technical conditions. The batch distribution plan can be automatically solved according to the injection plan and downloading demand of the station, and the scheduling plan that conforms to the pipeline configuration and is less deviated from the actual demand of users can be developed.Compared with the field data, the deviation is within 7.3‰, which verifies the accuracy of the model and the universality of the software. The research can provide reference for China's product pipeline scheduling.
