Abstract:
In the Sulige Gasfield, channeling often occurs between wells, and individual-well liquid producing rate cannot be metered accurately if fluid exists at wellhead. To solve these problems, orifice flowmeter and vortex flowmeter were combined in series according to their measurement theories. Then, laboratory experiments of air-liquid two-phase flow were carried out under different liquid/gas ratios. In addition, the air and water metering errors under the different liquid/gas ratios by orifice flowmeter, vortex flowmeter and combined measurement device were compared. It is shown that when the liquid/gas ratio is in the range of 0-100 m
3/(104 m
3), the metering error of gas phase is less than 5%. When the liquid/gas ratio is in the range of 3-86 m
3/(104 m
3), the metering error of liquid phase is basically less than 10%. The combined measurement device of orifice flowmeter and vortex flowmeter is wide in the measurement range of liquid phase, and it can provide technical support for the gas-liquid two-phase metering of drainage gas recovery wells in the Sulige Gasfield.
