含蜡原油乳化机制影响下的蜡晶形态及聚集行为

Effect of emulsification mechanism on morphology and aggregation behavior of wax crystals in waxy crude oil

  • 摘要: 以含蜡原油-水两相为代表的混输是油田集输生产中普遍采用的储运工艺,在油田地面工艺优化及节能增效开发的背景下,混输过程中面临的流动保障问题因油水乳化机制的影响而更为复杂、严峻。集偏光显微观察实验与普通光显微观察实验于一体,通过建立油水乳化体系中蜡晶形态及聚集行为的表征方法,实现了乳化水存在下蜡晶微观形态及聚集结构特征的直观再现,并定量化构建了乳化机制影响下蜡晶特征参数的分布规律。结果表明:随着温度升高、乳化剪切作用增强,蜡晶形态、结构趋向规则化,且其聚集行为受到抑制;含水体积分数对油水乳化体系中蜡晶形态及其聚集行为的影响则表现出在转相点附近发生特征转变。对乳化环境下蜡晶形态及其聚集行为的定量表征和分析,为深化理解管输剪切流场中油水两相蜡沉积过程的作用机制提供了必要基础和依据。

     

    Abstract: The multiphase transportation represented by water-waxy crude oil is a universal storage and transportation process used for oil gathering and production of oilfields. In the background of surface process optimization and energy saving & efficiency increasing development, the flow assurance in the process of multiphase transportation gets more complex and severe due to the effect of oil-water emulsification mechanism. In this paper, the method for characterizing the morphology and aggregation behavior of wax crystal in the oil-water emulsification system was developed by combining the polarized optical microscopy experiment and the ordinary light microscopy experiment together. By virtue of this method, the microscopic morphology and aggregation structure characteristics of wax crystals with emulsified water were presented intuitively and the distribution laws of the characteristic parameters of wax crystals under the effect of emulsification mechanism were quantified. It is indicated that with the increasing of temperature and emulsion shear action, the morphology and structure of wax crystals tend to regularization and the aggregation behavior is inhibited. The effect of water content on the morphology and aggregation behavior of wax crystals in oil-water emulsification system is presented as a feature transformation near the phase inversion point. The quantitative characterization and analysis on the morphology and aggregation behavior of wax crystals in the environment of emulsification provide necessary foundation and beneficial basis for further understanding on the mechanism in the wax deposition process of water-waxy crude oil two-phase flow in the shear flow field of pipeline transportation.
