Abstract:
In order to ensure the advancement and applicability of the standards on the line pipes for oil and gas pipelineprojects, the latest development of domestic and foreign basic standards, project technical specifications and general technicalspecifications on oil and gas transmission pipes was tracked and studied in this paper. In addition, their characteristics, relationships and differences were analyzed, and the suggestions for improvement were put forward. It is shown that basicstandards are developed rapidly with systematic contents and wide application range, but their indexes are low and unspecific. As for important oil and gas pipeline projects, it is necessary to improve or supplement the relevant technical requirementsand formulate the pipe technical specification for the specific project according to its characteristics, on the basis of the basicstandards. General technical specifications are prepared on the basis of basic standards, but they are not aimed at specificpipeline projects. Therefore, it is necessary to provide the data sheet of line pipe, determine the necessary technical indexesand supplement technical requirements based on the specific pipeline project.
