Abstract:
By conducting risk assessment in the stage of pipeline design review, some potential pipeline safety hazards can be removed in the early stage of pipeline construction and possible problems in the later stage can be predicted further so as to prepare precautions and plans as early as possible. In this paper, risk assessment regulations for pipelines were analyzed and compared, and the provisions on the risk assessment in the design review stage of urban gas pipeline stipulated in current national laws and regulations were introduced. Then, risk assessment was conducted on the failure probability (including design control, construction control, third-party damage control and corrosion control)and failure consequence of pipelines based on
Risk assessment method for buried steel pipeline(GB/T 27512-2011), combined with practical projects. Finally, the risk value and risk level of the pipeline in the stage of design review were obtained. In addition, the suggestions to reduce the risk of pipeline design and construction were proposed according to the score distribution of all factors so as to ensure the safe operation of pipelines.
