Abstract:
Waste heat utilization technologies have been widely used in oil and gas industry. The flue gas discharged from gas turbines in compressor stations is characterized by high temperature and large displacement. In this paper, characteristics and problems of several flue gas waste heat utilization technologies commonly used for gas turbines in compressor stations were analyzed. Based on the on-site operation data of gas turbines in one compressor station along West-to-East Gas Pipeline, the gas turbine system was analyzed by means of exergy analysis method. Then, the electricity generation scheme of flue gas turbine by using the waste heat of flue gas was designed. Finally, the exergy efficiency of the combined device system of gas turbine and waste heat utilization system was compared with that of gas turbine system without waste heat utilization system. It is indicated that the exergy efficiency of the combined device system with waste heat utilization system is increased by 17.5% on average. By virtue of this combined device system, about 1.03×10
6 m
3 gas is saved each year. The research results provide the reference for the waste heat utilization of flue gas of gas turbines in compressor stations.
