Abstract:
In order to realize the unified collection, processing, storage and accessing of production automation data of longdistance oil and gas pipelines and achieve the purpose of effective data utilization, an object-oriented Pipeline Automatic Data Model (PADM) for oil and gas pipelines was established in reference to Pipeline Open Data Standard (PODS) and ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model (APDM), combined with the international standards of electric-power industry (IEC 61970 and IEC 61850). PADM is composed of PADM Data Structure (PDS) and PADM Interface Specification (PIS). The modeling method and principle and the model architecture of each part were introduced systematically. A physical database was designed and created by means of this model and then automatic data of all stations of Shanshan-Lanzhou crude oil pipeline, Urumqi-Lanzhou product oil pipeline and Alashankou-Dushanzi crude oil pipeline of PetroChina West Pipeline Company were accessed to the database to validate the correctness and completeness of PADM. It is indicated that PADM can store all automatic data of the stations correctly and completely, and it is also applicable to the pipeline stations of the same type. To sum up, PADM can satisfy the interoperability between the applications of production automation of long-distance oil and gas pipelines in various business fields and improve the efficiency of information transmission.
