Abstract: Crude oil shipping is an important part of the oil supply chain and the optimization of crude oil ship routing and scheduling is an important challenge for shipping enterprises, so many scholars have studied the related issues to save operation costs. In this paper, the current research results related with the optimization of crude oil ship routing and scheduling were reviewed, and the consideration, models and solution algorithms related with the problem were analyzed. The research achievements in the similar fields to crude oil shipping which could be used as the reference were summarized. In addition, the idea and outlook of future researches were put forward based on the research status of the crude oil ship routing and scheduling optimization, so as to provide the reference for the optimization of crude oil ship routing and scheduling in the future.
