Abstract:
The traditional emergency management system of natural gas pipeline is lack of the support of GIS function, and the utilization of space information is not enough. To solve the problems, an emergency GIS module was designed and integrated into the emergency management system of natural gas pipeline. Using map query and spatial analysis techniques, the functions of emergency resources and linkage department positioning, accident impact analysis and rescue route planning are realized to provide the spatial information support for emergency programs and assist decision making and direction. By means of this GIS module, accident sites are positioned more accurately, accident impact scope is calculated dynamically according to the rules, and the emergency, maintenance and repair resources are planned dynamically, so it doesn't need preparing various emergency plans in advance, the accuracy and efficiency of emergency response are improved. Then, the emergency GIS module was developed with the emergency management platform of Shaanxi-Beijing Pipeline as an example. Finally, it was tested by means of simulation. It is shown that its functions operate well and its emergency effects are remarkable. It is verified that the design is scientifically feasible.
