Abstract:
In order to keep the stable running of compressor sets in long-distance gas pipelines, classification statistics was conducted on the faults of compressor sets that were in service in the First and Second West-East Gas Pipelines, Central Asia Gas Pipeline, Shaanxi-Beijing Gas Pipeline and Sebei-Xining-Lanzhou Gas Pipeline during 2011-2015. These faults were analyzed based on different pipelines, service years, driving modes and faults types, and the trends of fault data of compressor sets were compared. Then, the fault trees were built and the probabilities of compressor set faults were calculated. It is indicated that the anomalies of auxiliary equipments and operating parameters are the main reasons for the faults of compressor sets in long-distance gas pipelines, and with the advancing of the pipeline operation, the fault frequency of compressor sets in long-distance gas pipelines decreases year after year. The fault frequency of compressor sets can be decreased effectively by performing regular troubleshooting on the auxiliary equipments of compressor sets.
