Abstract:
PetroChina Oil & Gas Pipeline Control Center holds the right to dispatch and control all major oil and gas pipelines, and regional oil and gas pipeline companies have to arrange operators to each station for routine maintenance and management. Therefore, the labor cost is higher and the effect of control rooms cannot be exerted sufficiently. To explore operation and management models, the operation and management concept of centralized monitoring was put forward based on the current three-level control model of oil and gas pipelines in China. Then, a centralized monitoring and alarming system was established. In this system, pipeline operating alarm parameters are divided into ten systems to display the alarming information in the control rooms of regional companies. Its application results indicate that by virtue of this system, the operators in the control rooms of regional companies can grasp quickly and clearly the information of key alarms of each station and valve chamber, and the response and handling speed of regional companies to abnormal information can be enhanced. And besides, the automation management level of stations is improved further and the number of operators in the stations is reduced. Ultimately, the goal of downsizing for efficiency is achieved.
