Abstract:
Hydrate control is an important part of gas production system in Hutubi gas storage, and the cost can be reduced by optimizing the hydrate control scheme. In this paper, PVTsim software was used to calculate hydrate phase equilibrium value so as to optimize the existing hydrate prevention schemes of gas production system of gas storage. It is shown that the optimum methanol injection mass fraction at the distribution station of Hutubi gas storage is 15%-20% from the perspective of economy and safety. In order to improve the incoming temperature of raw gas and to deal with the solidification of condensate oil at low temperatures, a hydrate prevention scheme based on heating method was proposed and then simulated by the software HYSYS. Afterwards, methanol injection method and heating method were compared economically. And ultimately the critical water/vapor ratio was obtained, i.e., 2.1 g/m
