立管顶部节流法控制海管清管段塞的适应性

Adaptability of riser topside choking method of controlling pigging slugs in submarine pipelines

  • 摘要: 将新油气区块通过新建海底管道回接至已建处理设施,采用立管顶部节流法控制新建海底管道清管段塞存在很多限制因素,研究海管立管顶部节流法对提高已有设施的适应性尤为重要。通过OLGA软件动态模拟海管清管作业,对比了顶部节流对清管参数的影响,分析了节流阀开度、清管气体流量对清管段塞缓冲体积的影响规律。结果表明:节流阀开度越小,管道系统憋压越严重,节流阀前后压差及出口立管底部压力越大,清管段塞缓冲体积越小;清管段塞缓冲体积随节流阀等效开度的减小并非线性减小,节流阀需要达到某等效开度及以下才能达到较好效果;延长阀门动作时间可以减缓节流阀开启时造成的海管气塞;清管气体流量越小,清管段塞缓冲体积、节流阀前后压差及出口立管底部压力越小。研究结果为海洋油气混输管道的安全输送、清管作业的顺利完成提供了技术支持。

     

    Abstract: When new oil and gas blocks are developed in the pattern of tying back to the built-up processing facilities via newly constructed submarine pipelines, there are many restrictions in using riser topside choking method of controlling the pigging slugs in the newly constructed submarine pipelines. Therefore, it is quite significant to analyze the adaptability of riser topside choking method to the existing facilities. In this paper, the pigging operation in submarine pipelines were dynamically simulated by the OLGA software, the effects of topside choking on pigging parameters were compared, and then the effects of throttle opening and pigging gas flowrate on the surge volume of pigging slug were analyzed. It is indicated that the smaller the throttle opening, the more serious the hold pressure of pipeline system, the higher the pressure difference before and behind the throttle and the pressure at outlet riser bottom, and the smaller the surge volume of pigging slug. The surge volume of pigging slug doesn't reduce linearly with the decreasing of throttle equivalent opening, and it is not until the throttle equivalent opening drops to a certain threshold and below it can better result be realized. The gas plug in submarine pipeline which appears at the startup of throttle can be alleviated by prolonging the opening time of the valve. The surge volume of pigging slug, the pressure difference before and behind the throttle and the pressure at outlet riser bottom decrease with the decreasing of the pigging gas flow rate. Research results provide the technical support for the safe transportation and smooth pigging operation of submarine oil and gas mixed transportation pipelines.
