Abstract:
Compressor sets and their control systems for natural gas pipelines are characterized by significant differences in construction and production times, great varieties in equipment models and specifications and different frameworks for various control systems. Through studies related to field application of control systems like ControlLogix, MARK VIe, and S7 series for compressor sets of various models, failures in these systems were summarized and analyzed. Accordingly, proper countermeasures for hardware, spare parts, software, programs, core technologies and other key problems in development of the control system were proposed: ①It is necessary to manage spare parts well; ②Specific researches and control program optimization shall be performed; ③It is necessary to re-construct relevant systems independently to achieve domestic production. In conclusion, the ways how to master the key technologies in control systems for compressor sets were discussed which were essential to maintain reliable operation of compressor sets and to ensure high-efficiency transmission of natural gas.
