Abstract:
The traditional integrity management of long-distance oil and gas pipelines suffers from a series of problems, such as non-standardized data, difficult data correlation, absence of GIS (geographic information system) spatial data management, and inadaptability of analysis and processing efficiency to current pipeline safety management. In order to improve the capacities of data analysis and information integration, a pipeline integrity management system was built up by WebGIS technology so as to provide the basis for the visualization of pipeline integrity management. In the WebGIS based pipeline integrity management system, GIS is taken as a platform for risk identification, high consequence area analysis, mobile inspection monitoring and emergency response design. The key technologies involved in this system include multisource heterogeneous data seamless aggregation technology, cloud deployment mechanism and SOA based geographic information service architecture technology. The application system of the pipeline integrity database based on APDM data model is developed by the B/S network. And it is shown from its practical application that by virtue of the powerful spatial data processing and analysis capacities of GIS in pipeline integrity management, the level of pipeline integrity evaluation and decision support is improved and a practical platform is provided for pipeline integrity management.
