Abstract:
With the growing need for anti-terrorist and burglary prevention, more and more attention is paid to perimeter security technologies in oil and gas stations. In this paper, existing perimeter security technologies in oil and gas stations were analyzed comprehensively. These technologies are classified into leak cable, laser shooting, microwave shooting, tension fence and vibration optical fiber based on different sensing principles. Then, each perimeter security technology was analyzed in terms of its principle. And finally, the applicability of these perimeter security technologies were discussed from the aspects of security, monitoring scope, sensitivity, external interference effects and late maintenance. The study results will be valuable for the selection and application of these perimeter security technologies in oil and gas stations in the future.
