Application and failure analysis of surge relief valve

  • 摘要: 介绍了工程中常用泄压阀的种类及特点,详细论述了水击泄压阀的分类特点、结构型式及适用工况。结合工程应用实际情况,分析了应用于长输管道的水击泄压阀常见失效类型、情况及其形成原因,并针对常见失效原因提出了合理有效的设计结构改进措施及维护建议。为长输管道用水击泄压阀的选型、应用及其维护提供了实用、可靠的指导性意见,可以有效地延长水击泄压阀的使用寿命,改善其应用效果,确保输油管道的长期安全稳定运行。

     

    Abstract: This paper reviews different models and features of extensively used surge relief valves and describes their classifications, structural configurations and applicable working conditions. With consideration to performances of surge relief valves on site, common failure types, circumstances and causes of surge relief valves installed in long-distance pipelines are studied. Furthermore, reasonable improvements in structural design and maintenance of such valves are proposed against causes for such failures. Relevant research results may provide practical and reliable guidance for selection, application and maintenance of surge relief valves for long-distance pipelines, so as to ensure the safe and reliable operations of oil pipelines through effectively prolonging service life and improve the performance of surge relief valves.
