Effect and preventive measures of PID control technology on oil pipeline operation

  • 摘要: PID控制技术应用于输油管道站场, 能够保持管道压力平稳, 提高输油管道调控运行的自动化程度, 但PID控制效果易受多方面因素的影响, 且投用PID的输油管道可能掩盖部分异常事件的迹象, 应用不当会给管道运行带来不安全因素。通过对输油管道PID控制系统组成及PID的工作原理进行分析, 结合PID特性对调节阀压力响应的影响, PID选择性控制对管道运行的影响, PID控制对油品泄漏判断的影响, 以及PID检测环节对管道运行的影响等方面, 对投用PID的输油管道进行风险辨识, 阐明PID控制对输油管道风险控制的影响, 并提出加强投产运行后的PID参数修正, 加强重要设备的巡检与调试, 确保设备可靠, 以及及时进行PID控制及手动控制的切换等解决措施。

     

    Abstract: The PID control technology can be applied in pump stations along oil pipelines to keep the pipeline pressure steady and realize higher automation of regulation and operation of oil pipeline. However, the effect of PID control is influenced by multiple factors, and the evidence of some abnormal events may be covered up for oil pipeline equipped with PID. Incorrect use of PID will bring unsafe factors to pipeline operation. Through analyzing the composition of PID control system and its working principle, combined with the influence of PID characteristics on pressure response of regulation valve, the influence of PID selective control on pipeline operation, the influence of PID control on the judgment of oil leakage and the influence of PID detection unit on pipeline operation, risks of oil pipeline equipped with PID are identified. This paper clarifies the influence of PID control on oil pipeline risk control. Some preventive measures are put forward, including enhancing the modification of PID parameter after being put into production and operation, strengthening the patrol and troubleshooting of important equipment, ensuring the reliability of equipment and switching between PID control and manual control in time.
