Current and future applications of ROV in offshore oil and gas development in China

  • 摘要: 为了满足我国海洋油气工业发展的需要, 概述了国外ROV技术发展现状及其在海洋油气开发工程中的应用情况, 总结了海洋油气管道和电缆等工程设施施工和检测过程中ROV的应用技术体系, 并对我国现有的ROV检测工具的基本功能和主要参数进行了详细介绍, 同时结合我国海洋环境条件特点和深水油气开发的需要, 提出了未来ROV深水检测作业需要具备的关键技术及其发展趋势, 对于我国海洋油气设施施工和检测装备的研究开发具有一定的指导意义。

     

    Abstract: To facilitate offshore oil and gas development in China, this paper reviews the evolution of ROV and its application in offshore oil and gas development in other countries, and presents the ROV application systems in operation and inspection of offshore oil and gas facilities, such as subsea pipelines and cables. In addition, basic capacities and major parameters of ROV monitoring devices currently available in China are described in detail. With consideration to features of offshore environments and demands for deep-water oil and gas development in China, key technologies and future development of ROV for deep water operations are highlighted. The research results can provide valuable guidance for research and development of monitoring devices and offshore facilities.
