Abstract: Under such a circumstance as excess capacity and downcast market of global petrochemical industry, the petrochemical warehousing logistics appears particularly important for regulation. The petrochemical warehousing industry in China exhibits two characteristics in its evolution, namely, the warehousing pattern of hazardous chemicals have changed, and the warehousing industry is modernized faster and faster. The professional third-party warehousing logistics industry ushers in a great development period. Sinochem, the largest and pioneer third-party petrochemical warehousing logistics supplier in China, has formed a petrochemical warehousing logistics network covering the three economic circles (Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Bohai Rim). Taking the logistics solutions of Sinochem Tianjin Petrochemical Warehousing Co. Ltd. as an example, this paper presents the operation characteristics of professional third-party warehousing, inclusive of perfect infrastructure, professional operating management and customized services.
